I just spent some time playing around with the new iPhone 5 and must say that wasn’t as impressed as most reviewers around the net were.    Being a big fan of Apple products I have come to expect the highest quality and design from the Cupertino giant and was slightly disappointed with their recent offering.  First of all even though some reviewers are saying that the overall design is a masterpiece I can’t honestly see where this is coming from.  The iPhone 4 is the pinnacle in mobile phone design and I understand that coming up with a better idea isn’t easy, but come on, the phone is just a modification of this design.   Sure, its an evolution of the industrial design that Jon Ive introduced us to a couple of years ago with the iPhone 4, but it somehow feels unoriginal.
