We’ve learned from different sources that Apple is planning an event for October 23 to announce the much rumored, much hyped iPad mini. This time it seems as its for real and I keep wondering why would they do this? Well, appearently there’sa market out there they haven’t dominated yet and there are customers waitin for this. Expect more news in the upcoming days.

Windows 8 pricing and packaging has been revealed according to sources. Pricing is now closer to what Apple charged for their OS 4 years ago. It seems $99 for the home version and $139 for the pro will be what we can expect to pay for this much hyped OS. There’s also reports that Microsoft will spend more money in marketing for this product than anybody in the industry has ever done for a single product with close to $1.7 billion in budget. They say its their most important release ever and their company is depending on how this product does.

Both Microsoft and Apple haven’t officialy comented on these stories but expect them to be as close to reality as ever as leaked images have already been coming out in the net.
