Six women’s games were played yesterday and Eight are scheduled for today. Even if the Opening Ceremony hasn’t happened yet, the games have begun and competition is happening as we speak. There was a minor upset today as Japan beat Spain in men’s soccer. Spain is one of the favorites and is expected to be heading to the finals against Brazil. Mexico, another of the big dogs was also held to a draw by an Asian country, South Korea.
