Boxing Is Dead Part 3: Mayweather and Pacquiao lead as highest paid athletes in the world
More proof that boxing is a dying sport… Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao lead as the number 1 and number 2 highest paid athletes in the world over the past year. Mayweather reportedly made around $85 million and Pacquiao made a little more than $62 million. Tiger Woods who has been toping the list since 2001 fell to the number 3 spot with just under $59.5 million. Number four on the list is NBA star LeBron James with a reported income of $54 million. All of this include endorsements and money made in their sports. Once again Boxing proves that when you make it big in this dying sport you make more than in any other sport.
