Microsoft is currently holding a conference where its announcing its entry to the Tablet world.   It runs on the Windows 8 platform with big emphasis on games and workability.  It has a scratch and wear resistent surface that is being called “a first of its kind” with a liquid metal frame, magnesium case, weighing just under 1.5 Lb and with a 10.6 inch screen.    Its going to be released at the Windows 8 launch.   It also includes an built-in stand and a magnetic cover that also serves as a full multitouch keyboard and a trackpad.  Microsoft Office will be an app available for the new tablet, good move by Microsoft.  A 2 x 2 antenna is built in, another first of its kind that lets you get the best possible wireless signal no matter how you hold it.
