A Virus for Mac? Yes its true…

There is a virus rolling around the net that has infected a little bit more than 600,000 macs, 57 % of those in the U.S. and Canada alone.    This comes at a time when Apple has been claiming that the main reason to switch to a Mac is that its software is highly sophisticated and it doesn’t permit the entrance of unwanted files like Trojan Virus (like this one).    What effect might have this for future purchases, I don’t know, but what I do know is that this may be the beginning of the Virus Era for Apple’s machines.  This isn’t the first time this happens, there are indeed virus that affect Macs, the thing is that they aren’t widely spread because of the lack of Apple computers.    Now that the Cupertino Company has gained more popularity we may start seeing new virus emerging in the web.  Stay tunned.
